For extended cooling, keep a spare set of Glacier Tek adult cooling packs in a cooler or fridge to ensure nonstop comfort. The packs feature horizontal cells that conform to your torso as you bend and stretch. The nontoxic, biobased cooling material maintains a comfortable 59° F for 2.5 hours in 100° F heat. The packs can be recharged in 30 minutes or less in ice and water, about an hour in a freezer or a few hours in a fridge. The packs are made in the USA with a durable film that’s hermetically sealed for easy cleaning, disinfecting or sterilization and is completely odorless.

Three Ways to Charge Glacier Packs:

•    Submerge your packs in ice water for 20 minutes (or in a mountain stream!)

•    Place the packs in your freezer for one hour

•    Place the packs in your refrigerator for two hours

How to Use:

1.    GlacierPack sets must be charged before each use.  

2.    Insert one GlacierPacks into each interior pocket.

3.    The cooling vest is most effective when worn snugly around your torso. Your vest can be worn over a T-shirt, your uniform or whatever you prefer.

How to Clean Cooling Packs:

GlacierPacks can be hand-washed with warm water and dish soap. If desired, isopropyl alcohol may be used for disinfection. Rinse and towel dry before use.

How to Store Cooling Packs (for Long-Term Storage):

• A cool, dry space such as a pantry or dry storage is the ideal area to store cooling packs for weeks/months at a time.
• Long-term storage in a freezer can degrade the pliability of plastic over time, which makes the cooling packs more vulnerable to leaking and damage to the plastic that contains the cooling gel.
• We recommend considering long-term storage for any non-use period greater than 3-4 weeks.
