GlacierPacks can be hand-washed with warm water and dish soap. If desired, isopropyl alcohol may be used for disinfection. Rinse and towel dry before use.
Sports vests can be washed by hand and line-dried, or by machine on a delicate wash cycle with a tumble dry.
The Sports vest comes in one size, with side and shoulder straps that can be adjusted to fit most adults. Vests will accomodate standard sizes S-XL, and can accomodate up to 3XL with the addition of a Extender Set or Side Cooling Kit (Extended)

The vest features dual side elastic straps and over-the-shoulder adjustability for a secure fit on a wide range of body sizes. Each vest includes a set of eight cooling packs that maintain a cool -- but not cold -- temperature of 59° F for up to 2.5 hours in 100° F heat. The packs are powered by PureTemp, a nontoxic phase change material known for its consistent, repeatable performance over thousands of melting-solidification cycles.

How it Works:
The cooling vest has four interior pockets that hold packs snug against the torso. The charged packs will pull heat out of the body’s core which will lower effectively lowering the users body temperature and delivering a sensation of cooling. It is simple science, no gimmicks here. The packs work as heat absorbers, a cooling solution that keeps your clothes dry and works in humidity.
Easy to Recharge:
The cooling packs recharge in about 20 minutes in ice water (or a mountain stream), one hour in the freezer, or two hours in the refrigerator.
Booster packs can be recharged in the freezer, typically within 1 hour

The Ways to Charge Glacier Packs:
• Submerge your packs in ice water for 30 minutes (or in a mountain stream!)
• Place the packs in your freezer for one hour
• Place the packs in your refrigerator for two hours
The Ways to Charge Booster Packs:
• Place the packs in your freezer for one to two hours
How to Use:
1. GlacierPack sets must be charged before each use.
2. Insert two GlacierPacks, one large and one small, into each exterior pocket
3. Adjust vest side straps and should straps to fit. The cooling vest is most effective when worn snugly around your torso. Your vest can be worn over your T-shirt, your uniform or whatever you prefer.
In less demanding conditions, you may lighten your vest by using a single large GlacierPack in each pocket.
